SuperDocs is an AI document editing platform. The AI edits inside the document itself instead of regenerating it in a chat window, so it changes the section you asked for and leaves the rest of the document and its formatting intact.
There are three ways to use it: a full web editor at use.superdocs.app, a REST API, and an MCP server with 38 tools and 4 prompts for AI clients such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf and VS Code. The AI model is included, so there is no separate model key to manage and no separate token bill.
Documents import from .docx, PDF, HTML, Markdown, RTF and plain text, and export to .docx, PDF, HTML, Markdown and plain text. Tables, fonts, colours, lists, indentation, headers and footers, footnotes, citations and tracked changes survive both the edit and the round trip.
Every AI change can be reviewed as a red and green diff, approved or denied individually, and reverted per message with full change history. Several documents can be open and edited in a single conversation, and there is a durable file library across sessions.
Other capabilities include semantic search and summarising, a template and style-guide library, image generation and editing, diagrams, hand-drawn canvas, LaTeX equations, automatic tables of contents, and editing in more than 16 languages.
The free plan includes 500 AI operations per month and needs no credit card.

Event loops are a paradigm for processing events different than your typical single-threaded or multi-threaded application. Your request gets broken down into async "events" that are executed in a loop to improve performance and minimize synchronization across threads. It is famously used by Node.js as the backbone of their event processing and also by several other technologies like Redis and Nginx. - Source: dev.to / 6 days ago

TypeScript / Node.js: Excellent for building asynchronous backend systems that must stream text data smoothly to thousands of users simultaneously. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
Because Node.js operates on a single-threaded asynchronous runtime, it is inherently vulnerable to processes that hog the CPU for too long. I absolutely cringe whenever I see developers blindly copy-pasting complex regular expressions from StackOverflow without actually testing their performance impact. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
This tutorial walks you through setting up a simple Docker Compose project that serves two Node web servers over HTTPS using Caddy as a reverse proxy. You will learn how to use mkcert to generate wildcard certificates and the minimal configuration needed in the Caddyfile and docker-compose.yml to get it all working. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
