Cutware combines real-time network monitoring with active ARP spoofing defense in one lightweight Windows app — most tools only do one or the other. It captures packets, fingerprints devices on your network, and tracks bandwidth usage, all through a native WinUI 3 interface instead of a clunky legacy dashboard.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Cutware's answer:

Most consumer-grade network tools are either too basic to catch real threats or too complex for non-enterprise users. Cutware sits in the middle: it gives you serious detection capability (ARP spoofing, device fingerprinting) with a clean, modern UI that doesn't require networking expertise to use. It's also free, with just a simple login required.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Cutware's answer:

Home users and power users who want visibility into their own network — people who care about knowing what's connected to their Wi-Fi and want a heads-up if someone's trying to spoof or intercept traffic, without needing enterprise-level tools or expertise.

What's the story behind your product?

Cutware's answer:

Cutware started as a personal project to solve a real problem: most network monitoring tools felt outdated or overly technical for everyday users. It's grown through hands-on iteration — structured code audits, fixing race conditions and crash bugs, building out a proper CI/CD pipeline, and even getting picked up by third-party listing sites, all while staying a solo-driven build.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Cutware's answer:

Built with WinUI 3 and .NET 8 for the desktop app, C++ for lower-level networking work, Firebase for authentication, and an NSIS installer for distribution. The backend/web side runs on Next.js (Vercel), with Sentry, and PostHog for analytics and monitoring.
