SpawnWP is a free and open-source, self-hosted WordPress development lab for creating isolated, disposable WordPress environments on your own Debian or Ubuntu server.
It is designed for development, testing, debugging, plugin/theme evaluation, demos and experimentation โ not as a traditional hosting control panel.
Each WordPress instance runs in its own isolated Docker stack and can be created, reset, snapshotted or destroyed whenever needed. SpawnWP also includes a web-based cockpit for managing environments without having to work exclusively from the command line.
Key features include:
Unlike hosted services such as InstaWP or TasteWP, SpawnWP runs entirely on infrastructure you control. There are no per-site fees, artificial site limits or recurring SaaS subscriptions imposed by SpawnWP itself โ your limits are essentially the resources available on your server.
SpawnWP started as a personal tool for quickly spinning up WordPress test environments and was later released publicly as an MIT-licensed open-source project.
It is particularly useful for WordPress developers, agencies, plugin and theme authors, QA testers and anyone who frequently needs clean WordPress installations without repeatedly configuring servers from scratch.

Next.js has become the de-facto standard for our frontend engineering team when building modern web applications. The Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) are absolutely essential for our product's SEO strategy and fast indexing.
The transition to the App Router initially required a paradigm shift for our developers, but it ultimately made our architecture much more scalable. We love that the framework handles the heavy liftingโimage optimization, code splitting, and routingโallowing our team to focus purely on business logic. It provides a phenomenal Developer Experience that keeps our deployment cycles fast and predictable.
Based on our record, Next.js seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 1142 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
What replaced the laptop, before we get to the schema: Health Auto Export now posts straight to a Vercel function on a daily schedule, a scheduled job pulls lifting history from Liftosaur, and both land in TimescaleDB on Tiger Cloud. No files, no iCloud, no Mac. A Next.js app reads it and tells me whether I hit protein, which is a separate post. - Source: dev.to / 1 day ago

Yes, itโs built on the shoulders of giants, Next.js[0] and lesser-known Keystone.js[1]. Next is a full stack framework and Keystone is a CMS built on top of Prisma and GraphQL. Keystone was created by this Australian company called Thinkmill. They have used it to help businesses build custom backend systems for more than a decade. But it needed to be deployed separately from Next and they were using emotion css... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago

Anyone who's worked with React knows it's easy to get started with, and you can quickly become quite productive. However, once you move beyond the basics and need full-stack capabilities, like server-side rendering (SSR), selecting a React framework becomes the next step. Two of the most popular frameworks are Next.js and Remix. Both provide powerful tools to build high-performance web applications, but their... - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
