NerdSip is a microlearning app for anyone who wants to improve their general knowledge in the dead minutes of the day. Type in anything you are curious about, from Roman emperors to how anesthesia works, and the app builds you a custom course in seconds: three to ten bite-sized lessons, about five minutes total, each ending in a quick quiz.
It is built to replace social media. Same swipe, same pull, completely different outcome. Instead of a feed engineered to eat your evening, you swipe through interesting facts and cool stories and come away knowing more than when you opened the app. The reflex that used to feed the scroll now feeds your general knowledge.
The learning is designed by scientists. NerdSip was founded by two physics PhDs and leans on what research actually supports: active recall through quizzes, spaced repetition that resurfaces material right before you would forget it, and a weekly recap that locks it in. Every course passes through a four-layer fact-checking pipeline before anyone sees it, grounded in live sources and backstopped by human review.
There is a game wrapped around it too. Streaks, XP, badges, weekly leagues against friends. Learning earns you things, so you keep coming back, and coming back is the whole trick to growing your general knowledge.
Curious people feel it immediately: this is the app that answers the questions you always meant to look up. Whether you want to hold your own at quiz night, follow the news without skimming past the hard parts, or just be the person with the good story at dinner, NerdSip turns spare minutes into knowledge that stays.
Free to try with one sample course a day, no account needed. Rated 4.8 stars on the App Store and Google Play with > 250 votes (August 2026). Available on iOS and Android.

Duolingo only does languages. Brilliant only does STEM. Blinkist only does book summaries. NerdSip lets you learn anything, from Byzantine history to quantum mechanics to negotiation tactics, in 5-minute AI-generated micro-courses. It's the only app that combines AI content generation, spaced repetition, retrieval practice, gamification, and podcast mode in one place. Plus it's fun. You're not grinding through a textbook; you're leveling up a character.
NerdSip's answer
Curious adults (18-40) who want to learn new things but don't have hours to spare. The person who watches YouTube rabbit holes at midnight, listens to podcasts during their commute, and wishes scrolling social media actually made them smarter. Students, professionals, and lifelong learners who want their screen time to count for something.
NerdSip's answer
NerdSip was built by Max and Philip, two physicist, PhDs, who got frustrated with the gap between what learning science proves works and what most apps actually do. They combined AI content generation with proven techniques like spaced repetition and retrieval practice, wrapped it in RPG-style gamification, and launched it as a way to turn idle screen time into real knowledge. The name says it all: take a sip of knowledge, level up your inner nerd.
