Most side projects don't fail because the developer isn't good enough. They fail because there's no structure, no real deadline, and nobody watching when you quietly skip Day 4. AI tools make this worse, not better โ a METR study from July 2025 found that experienced developers are 19% slower when using AI assistants on real tasks. The bottleneck was never the plan.
MVP Builder is a structured 30-day sprint for developers with full-time jobs who want to ship their side project. Not a course. Not another tool. A sprint system with enforced milestones and daily prompts calibrated to where you actually are in your project.
Here's how it works: you apply, describe your project, and get matched to a tier โ Bronze (13 days, just an idea), Silver (21 days, started but stuck), or Gold (30 days, almost done but can't cross the line). Every day you receive a prompt built around your specific project context. At Days 13, 21, and 30, you hit a milestone check-in. Miss it and the sprint pauses. There are no soft nudges.
This is the gap Buildspace left when it shut down in August 2024 โ not the content, but the structure and the deadline that made people actually finish things.
Cohort #1 is free, 5โ8 spots, and acceptance is manual. Not everyone gets in โ vague scope and no real commitment get rejected, because a sprint that starts wrong can't produce a testimonial, and a testimonial is the only thing that justifies Cohort #2. Cohort #2 is priced at $97โ$249 depending on tier.
If you have a project you've been "almost done with" for longer than a sprint should take, apply at mvpbuilder.io/pipeline. Three minutes. Response within 48 hours.

MVPBuilder.io's answer
MVP Builder enforces milestones โ not just tracks them. Miss a check-in and your sprint pauses. There are no soft nudges. Most productivity tools assume you'll show up; MVP Builder is built for the reality that you won't unless something is at stake.
MVPBuilder.io's answer
Because AI tools give you a perfect plan and won't notice when you skip Day 4. MVP Builder adds the one thing missing: enforced structure. Daily prompts are calibrated to your specific project, not generic advice. Acceptance is manual โ vague scope gets rejected because a bad start produces no outcome.
MVPBuilder.io's answer
Experienced developers with a full-time job who have a side project they've been "almost done with" for months. Not beginners. Not hobbyists. Developers who know exactly what to build and keep not finishing it.
MVPBuilder.io's answer
Built by a solo developer who watched Buildspace shut down in August 2024 and noticed what people actually missed wasn't the content โ it was the structure and the deadline. MVP Builder is the answer to that gap: a sprint system, not a course.
