Now, the problem is actually with multiup.org download links. You'd have to access the site, click 'Download' where it leads you to a page where you have to choose your hoster, get through billions of ads just to get to the actual download link. I'm really new to this so sorry if this is dumb. I went to cs.rin.ru and tried to download Star Wars Fallen Order but when I put the multiup.org link that cs.rin.ru gave me it says that all the files are offline. Here's a screenshot of the problem and I've also tried Doom Eternal but it has the same issue. Source: almost 5 years ago
With regard to encryption tools, I use AxCrypt, which is cross-platform, but isn't free in that form. It would though encrypt each file in-place, without need for a dedicated folder or vault and encrypted file will sync with OneDrive, via the standard sync client.
