Here is a link to Modloader for MCb173. It needs adding directly into the minecraft.jar file, however if you use a launcher like MultiMC, which you can find here: https://multimc.org/ then there is an option to 'add to minecraft jar file' which does the same thing. Source: over 2 years ago
I used to have this issue lots, and it was due to my internet being too restrictive. The Minecraft Launcher was refusing to open, and I fixed it by messing with the restrictions until it worked. Hopefully this helps :) if all else fails of course, try just reinstalling it! I’m sure that all your config files don’t get affected by reinstalling it, but just in case make a backup. You have to somehow extract the structure from world files (stored in LevelDB format so there is no one file which contains the structure). You can try Universal Minecraft Editor which is Windows-only but can handle worlds from Android version as well. Otherwise you have to figure out yourself how to extract the structure (which is probably too hard for you). Source: over 4 years ago
