Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Modular JavaScript 5 features
Nossy 3 features
  • Improved Code Organization
Modular JavaScript allows developers to break down code into smaller, manageable modules. This enhances code readability and maintainability by organizing related functionality together.
  • Code Reusability
Modules encourage reusability by allowing the same piece of code to be used across different projects or multiple areas of the same application, reducing redundancy.
  • Scalability
As the application grows, managing code becomes easier with modular JavaScript. Each module can be developed, tested, and maintained independently, making the codebase more scalable.
  • Encapsulation
Modules provide encapsulation, preventing variables and functions from polluting the global namespace. This reduces the risk of naming conflicts and bugs.
  • Improved Testing
With code organized into discrete modules, writing unit tests becomes more straightforward. Each module can be tested individually, leading to more reliable and maintainable tests.

Possible disadvantages

  • Increased Complexity
Introducing modularity can add complexity to the build process, as it often requires module loaders or bundlers (like Webpack or Browserify) to manage dependencies.
  • Overhead
For smaller projects, using a modular approach might be overkill, introducing unnecessary overhead in terms of setup, configuration, and code management.
  • Learning Curve
Developers unfamiliar with modular JavaScript may face a learning curve, especially when dealing with module patterns, loaders, and bundlers.
  • Dependency Management
Relying on multiple modules can lead to complex dependency chains, making it challenging to track and resolve dependencies across different modules.
  • Performance Overhead
Modular JavaScript can introduce performance overhead if not managed properly, such as loading many small modules individually, leading to increased HTTP requests.
  • Custom system built around your business
Nossy interviews you about how your team actually works, then builds a database that fits your operations
  • Run everything from the chat you already use
Your team handles daily operations from Telegram, LINE, or WhatsApp. No new app to learn, no dashboards. Start in the browser, finish in chat.
  • ssigns tasks and checks they're done
Assigns work, tracks it on schedule, remembers your rules.

What's the story behind your product?

Nossy's answer:

Our founder runs a cafe. We built a bot for its bookkeeping, it survived a real tax audit, and grew to 150-200 paying businesses. Customers kept asking for more than accounting, so we built Nossy: AI builds the tailored system, the team runs it in chat. The cafe still runs on Nossy today.

Nossy builds a custom system for your business through an AI interview, then your team runs it from the chat app they already use.
