Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

Modular JavaScript 5 features
Aggregaat.bot 6 features
  • Improved Code Organization
Modular JavaScript allows developers to break down code into smaller, manageable modules. This enhances code readability and maintainability by organizing related functionality together.
  • Code Reusability
Modules encourage reusability by allowing the same piece of code to be used across different projects or multiple areas of the same application, reducing redundancy.
  • Scalability
As the application grows, managing code becomes easier with modular JavaScript. Each module can be developed, tested, and maintained independently, making the codebase more scalable.
  • Encapsulation
Modules provide encapsulation, preventing variables and functions from polluting the global namespace. This reduces the risk of naming conflicts and bugs.
  • Improved Testing
With code organized into discrete modules, writing unit tests becomes more straightforward. Each module can be tested individually, leading to more reliable and maintainable tests.

Possible disadvantages

  • Increased Complexity
Introducing modularity can add complexity to the build process, as it often requires module loaders or bundlers (like Webpack or Browserify) to manage dependencies.
  • Overhead
For smaller projects, using a modular approach might be overkill, introducing unnecessary overhead in terms of setup, configuration, and code management.
  • Learning Curve
Developers unfamiliar with modular JavaScript may face a learning curve, especially when dealing with module patterns, loaders, and bundlers.
  • Dependency Management
Relying on multiple modules can lead to complex dependency chains, making it challenging to track and resolve dependencies across different modules.
  • Performance Overhead
Modular JavaScript can introduce performance overhead if not managed properly, such as loading many small modules individually, leading to increased HTTP requests.
  • Channel aggregation
Receive updates from favorite channels into the bot
  • Community Management
Send updates from favorite sources directly to the managed channel/group
  • AI-Powered Content Creation
Generate AI digest from your feeds
  • Auto Forwarding
Select channel or group to forward your messages
  • Keyword filters
You can now filter any source by keywords
  • Private Channels

What's the story behind your product?

Aggregaat.bot's answer:

Telegram has become an information platform, but it was built as a messenger. Following more than a handful of channels means checking each one separately, and there is no native way to filter or summarize across them. Aggregaat started as a fix for that: one feed from many channels, with keyword filters and scheduled AI digests.

Most tools in this space ask you to log in with your Telegram account so they can read channels as you. We chose the harder route: our own accounts subscribe to sources on our side, so your credentials never leave you. That now includes private channels, which you add with an invite link.

Aggregaat is built and maintained by a solo founder, and every user message is read and answered by a person.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Aggregaat.bot's answer:

  • News and media monitoring teams following many Telegram channels
  • Community admins forwarding curated posts to their own groups and channels
  • Analysts and researchers tracking sources by keyword
