WorkshopFetch is an independent web tool for checking one public Steam Workshop item at a time. Paste an item URL or Published File ID to view public metadata returned by Steam. When Steam provides a valid public file URL, WorkshopFetch links directly to Steamโs CDN. When no public direct link is available, it prepares the item-specific SteamCMD command for the user to run locally. WorkshopFetch does not host, proxy, cache, unpack, or redistribute Workshop files, and it does not collect Steam credentials. It is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam.
WorkshopFetchWorkshopFetch's answer:
WorkshopFetch is built with Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and the Next.js App Router. It is deployed as a web application on Vercel.
WorkshopFetch's answer:
WorkshopFetch clearly shows the delivery path Steam actually provides for an individual public Workshop item. It displays a validated Steam-hosted file link only when one is available; otherwise, it prepares the item-specific SteamCMD command to run locally. It never hosts, proxies, or redistributes Workshop files.
WorkshopFetch's answer:
WorkshopFetch provides a focused and transparent workflow without requiring an account. It does not claim that every Workshop item can be downloaded, and it does not invent download links. Users see the public item information returned by Steam and the download option that is actually available.
WorkshopFetch's answer:
WorkshopFetch is designed for PC gamers, mod users, server administrators, and other Steam Workshop users who want to check a public itemโs metadata and determine whether Steam provides a public direct link or requires a local SteamCMD workflow.
WorkshopFetch's answer:
WorkshopFetch was created to make checking Steam Workshop items simpler and more transparent. Instead of promising universal downloads, it checks one public item at a time and shows the access path Steam actually provides while respecting Steam, game, and account restrictions.

I have made three new Fantasy Campaigns and they are here on moddb.com:. Source: almost 3 years ago
I always have problems with GFM through GitHub, so I use their moddb.com entry instead. It might not be as current as the GitHub version, but it tends to be more stable and tested. Source: over 3 years ago
I downloaded the zip file from moddb.com and extracted it to the local game files folder. However, the files that were extracted did not replace existing ones and instead, got new names. Source: over 3 years ago
I used to binge moddb.com like crazy and I followed so many projects that were basically just very naive promises. ''I'm making an MMO'' were the funniest ones always. Source: over 3 years ago
There's also the prefetcher mod just uploaded at Anomaly's addon page on moddb.com, given you use the HD models addon. Source: over 3 years ago
