I like your idea, and the end result isnt that bad. I would try to straighten the text and change to colours to the originals that pepsi have and not the washed out ones that you used. I also would suggest that you try to make a realistic mock-up. You can use https://mockups-design.com/ for a free and really good soda can mock-up if you have Photoshop. No upfront cost, but they take a % of your salary when you get a job for the first two years until you pay their full cost. While you don't need a boot camp, I highly recommend Lambda School (https://lambdaschool.com). They charge nothing upfront and you only pay them back (17% up to $30k) when you get a high paying job.
