Mixo was born out of frustration when our founding team was launching their third startup. Despite having launched successful products before, we found ourselves spending weeks designing and building a landing page instead of focusing on the product and talking to customers. We tried using existing website builders, but they were either too complex or too limited for our startup needs. We wanted something that could generate a professional site instantly, capture leads effectively, and iterate quickly as we refined our messaging. When we couldn't find a solution, we built Mixo to scratch our own itch—a tool that could take a simple business idea and turn it into a professional website in seconds, letting founders focus on building their business rather than their website.

I and my friends have been shocked at how many jobs you need to apply for before you get a resume. I've seen so many sankey diagrams on Reddit from people applying for 500 jobs, getting 10 interviews, and maybe 1 offer. I've also read many articles from recruiters expressing frustrations with qualified applicants getting filtered out of the system due to automated HR tools.

This caused me to realize 2 things: - It really is a numbers game, so the faster and more frequently you can apply, the better. - HR filters are looking for specific things. By tailoring your resume to target those things, you improve your hit rate.
