  • Performance Overhead
The additional abstraction layer introduced by a fluent interface might introduce some performance overhead, especially in performance-critical or resource-constrained environments.
  • Less Community Support
Compared to more established testing libraries, Assertpy might have less community support and fewer resources available for resolving issues or getting help.
  • Dependency Management
Using a third-party library introduces additional dependencies to manage, which could complicate project maintenance and compatibility.

    Has become terrible

This used to be an awesome product, but since Mixmeister was sold (to InMusic/Numark) by itโ€™s inceptor, it has become a horrible product. The software has a vast stack of bugs and there hasnโ€™t been any update to solve them for years. Still, the product is available in the online shop. Support is nowhere to be found. Numark should be ashamed heavy over this. They are still selling software products that donโ€™t function properly. Smells like a scam.
