Mimo OpenLPbeen using mimo for a time and finished Python course as a noob, i can say it's a good experience since they made the course like having a bike with third wheel which is great for home learners, your brain not ready to debug something you don't know, that stage also is tought as a last lesson, how to debug your program, my experience was all in all great, and this coming from me a Lazy Person :)

Right now, I'm using OpenLP , which practically does all I need (play videos, photos, and audio onto a big screen), my only issue is there is about a half second of delay between pressing on a clip and it playing, as well as no ability to cross dissolve between clips. Obviously not the biggest problem, but for a better flowing show, I would prefer something that does both of these. (Preferably free as well). Source: almost 4 years ago
