Methodus is recipe costing, inventory, and team training for independent restaurants and bars โ built by operators, for operators.
Recipe costing in real time. Snap an invoice and ingredient prices update across every recipe that uses them. Build a spec sheet once; Methodus keeps its food cost current as prices move. See your actual pour cost and plate cost โ not last month's estimate.
Stock counting from your phone. Walk the walk-in, count from your phone, and see theoretical-vs-actual variance by the time you're back at the bar. No clipboards, no spreadsheets.
Menu engineering from real data. Know which items make money and which quietly bleed it โ stars, plowhorses, puzzles, and dogs, calculated from your actual POS sales and real ingredient costs.
Team training that lives in the product. Spec sheets, prep methods, and training quizzes auto-generated from your recipes. Staff learn the menu the way you built it, in the language they speak.
Independent venues โ restaurants, bars, cocktail bars, cafรฉs, and hotel F&B โ that want to stop guessing their margins and start running on real numbers.
From $69/month per venue. 14-day free trial, no card required. Works in English, French, Spanish, German, and Arabic, with voice capture in 40+ languages.

After starting the project called socketify.py at https://github.com/cirospaciari/socketify.py, I got pretty good results and reviews, but many people asked if socketify.py could be used to create a WSGI and ASGI server. WSGI and ASGI have a lot of overhead, that's is why I choose not to use them in the first place, but adding an ASGI and WSGI server allows a lot of code already written to run faster!
