  • No Coding Required
The platform is designed for non-technical users, allowing restaurant owners and staff to make changes without hiring a developer or learning complex software.
  • Mobile-Friendly Design
Menus created through the platform are typically optimized for mobile viewing, ensuring customers have a good experience when accessing menus on smartphones.
  • Decentralized Object Storage
Objects.to provides decentralized storage solutions, allowing users to store data across distributed networks rather than relying on a single centralized server, which enhances data resilience and reduces single points of failure.
  • Web3 and Blockchain Integration
The platform is designed with Web3 principles in mind, making it well-suited for developers building decentralized applications (dApps) that need reliable and censorship-resistant storage.
  • Simple API and Developer Experience
Objects.to offers a straightforward API that makes it relatively easy for developers to integrate decentralized storage into their projects without needing deep expertise in the underlying protocols.
  • Content Persistence
Data stored through Objects.to benefits from content-addressable storage mechanisms, helping ensure that files remain available and verifiable over time without risk of link rot or unauthorized modification.
  • Cost-Effective Storage
Compared to traditional cloud storage providers, Objects.to can offer competitive pricing by leveraging decentralized storage networks, potentially reducing costs for developers and businesses storing large amounts of data.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Mainstream Adoption
Objects.to is a relatively niche platform compared to established cloud storage providers like AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, which means fewer community resources, tutorials, and third-party integrations are available.
  • Performance and Latency Concerns
Decentralized storage can sometimes suffer from higher latency and slower retrieval speeds compared to centralized cloud services that have globally distributed CDNs and optimized infrastructure.
  • Reliability and Uptime Uncertainty
As a smaller and newer platform, Objects.to may not offer the same level of guaranteed uptime and SLAs that enterprise-grade centralized storage providers commit to.
  • Learning Curve for Non-Web3 Developers
Developers unfamiliar with decentralized storage concepts, content addressing, and Web3 paradigms may face a steeper learning curve when adopting Objects.to compared to traditional storage solutions.
  • Limited Documentation and Support
Being a smaller platform, Objects.to may have less comprehensive documentation, fewer support channels, and slower response times for troubleshooting compared to major cloud providers with dedicated support teams.

Objects

Overall verdict

  • MenuSquared appears to be a niche digital menu and restaurant management platform aimed at helping restaurants create, update, and display menus online easily, though independent reviews and widespread user feedback are limited, so due diligence is recommended before committing.

Why this product is good

  • Offers digital menu creation tools that can simplify updates across platforms
  • Aims to save restaurant owners time by centralizing menu management
  • May integrate with websites or third-party listing services to keep menu information consistent
  • Likely designed with ease-of-use in mind for non-technical restaurant staff

Recommended for

  • Small to medium-sized restaurants looking to digitize their menus
  • Restaurant owners who frequently update menu items and want a simple update process
  • Businesses seeking an alternative to manually editing menus on multiple platforms
  • Owners who want a lightweight, low-cost solution rather than a full POS or website builder

Overall verdict

  • Objects.to is a niche link-in-bio and personal landing page tool. It appears to offer a minimalist way to consolidate links, but it has limited brand recognition compared to major competitors like Linktree, Bio.link, or Beacons, and detailed independent reviews or long-term reliability data are scarce.

Why this product is good

  • Likely free or low-cost tier for basic use cases
  • Quick setup for consolidating multiple links in one place
  • Lightweight alternative if you dislike bloated link-in-bio tools

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing MenuSquared and Objects.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

MenuSquared's answer

React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Supabase, Puppeteer (Fly.io), Google Gemini, Stripe, Vercel

What makes your product unique?

MenuSquared's answer

MenuSquared is built around a content-first, template-constrained design philosophy. Instead of handing restaurant owners a blank Canva-style canvas, it offers 50 professionally designed templates where every font pairing, spacing decision, and color slot has already been made by a designer. You focus on your dishes and prices; the template guarantees the result looks like it came from a studio.

From one source of truth, your menu publishes everywhere at once:

  • A live web menu with its own QR code
  • Print-ready PDF export
  • TV display mode for the dining room

Mark a dish sold out from your phone and it disappears from the web menu in seconds, while your printed PDFs stay untouched until the next print run.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

MenuSquared's answer

General design tools like Canva give you infinite freedom and infinitely many ways to end up with an amateur-looking menu, and every price change means re-exporting and re-uploading a PDF. Restaurant website builders treat the menu as an afterthought. MenuSquared treats the menu as the product.

  • Update once, publish everywhere. Change a price and it updates across web, QR, and PDF simultaneously.
  • Menus that run themselves. Schedule a happy hour or brunch menu to switch on and off by the clock.
  • Six-language translation in one click, allergen and dietary labels included.
  • AI that does the tedious parts. Draft dish descriptions, rebuild a menu from a photo of your old printed one, or audit your pricing.

It starts free with one published menu and all 50 templates, so you can judge the output quality before paying anything.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

MenuSquared's answer

Independent restaurants, cafes, bars, and small hospitality groups that don't have an in-house designer or an agency on retainer.

The typical user is an owner or manager who updates the menu themselves: someone who needs to 86 a dish mid-service, run a seasonal menu, or reprint for a new season without waiting on a freelancer. The Business tier adds team roles for multi-person or multi-location operations.

What's the story behind your product?

MenuSquared's answer

MenuSquared started with a simple observation: the menu is the single most-read document a restaurant produces, and it's usually the worst-designed. Most independent restaurants juggle a Word file for print, a PDF buried on their website, and a photo of a chalkboard on Google, and none of them agree with each other.

Design tools didn't fix this because they made restaurateurs do a designer's job. MenuSquared inverts that: designers made the templates once, and owners just maintain the content. One menu, kept accurate, published everywhere.
