socketify.py
Time is a native macOS menu bar app for tracking multiple time zones at a glance. Built with SwiftUI for fast, lightweight performance.
Unlimited Time Zones โ Add as many cities as you need directly in your menu bar. Search by city name or airport code (5,500+ supported). Give zones custom names like "London Office" or "Mom's House."
Time Scroller โ Drag to preview future times across all zones. Color-coded backgrounds (green/yellow/red) show working hours, off-hours, and sleep timeโinstantly find when everyone's awake.
Calendar Integration โ See upcoming meetings and join Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams with one click. Get alerts before meetings start.
Customizable โ Choose 12/24-hour format, custom fonts, colors, and layout. Make it match your workflow.
macOS has a World Clock widget, but it lives in Notification Center. Time puts everything in your menu barโalways visible, one click away.
Perfect for: - Remote teams coordinating across continents - Freelancers working with international clients - Anyone tired of Googling "what time is it in Tokyo"
Privacy-focused: no tracking, no accounts required.

After starting the project called socketify.py at https://github.com/cirospaciari/socketify.py, I got pretty good results and reviews, but many people asked if socketify.py could be used to create a WSGI and ASGI server. WSGI and ASGI have a lot of overhead, that's is why I choose not to use them in the first place, but adding an ASGI and WSGI server allows a lot of code already written to run faster!
