As answered by people managing meetergo and Solidgate.
meetergo's answer
meetergo GmbH was founded in 2021 by Dominik Rapacki and Richard Gödel and is based in Monheim am Rhein, North Rhine-Westphalia (HRB 104381, Amtsgericht Düsseldorf).
It started as a straightforward answer to a problem German businesses kept running into: the standard scheduling tools were excellent products with an unusable legal position for anyone operating under GDPR. A booking page collects names, email addresses, phone numbers and often health or legal context, and for many German firms that data could not sit with a US processor.
The product grew from there. Once bookings were compliant, the calls, recordings, notes and customer records had the same problem, so those moved onto the same German infrastructure rather than being handed to a second foreign vendor. That is how a scheduling tool became a platform of sixteen apps sharing one subscription and one compliance posture.
meetergo's answer
Small and mid-sized businesses in the DACH region, typically between one and fifty employees. The largest group is practitioners rather than dedicated revenue teams: freelancers and consultants, agencies, law firms and notaries, medical and therapy practices, and small B2B sales teams.
The common thread is that someone in the business is personally accountable for GDPR compliance and cannot defend a US scheduling tool to a client, a works council or a data protection officer. Customers usually arrive because of that constraint and stay because the scheduling, video, notes and CRM consolidate tools they were otherwise paying for separately.
Outside DACH, the same pattern applies to EU companies with public-sector, healthcare or regulated clients who need scheduling data to stay under EU jurisdiction.
meetergo's answer
Most GDPR-compliant scheduling tools stop at the booking page. meetergo keeps the entire meeting lifecycle inside German infrastructure: the booking, the video call, the recording and AI recap, the CRM record, the invoice and the e-signature. That means a European company can drop a Calendly plus Zoom plus Otter stack without introducing a second US processor at exactly the point where the real customer conversation happens.
Two other things are unusual. Every plan, including the free one, ships a REST API, webhooks and an MCP server, so agents and internal tools can read availability and create bookings directly rather than scraping a booking page. And the free tier has no user cap, which makes it usable by a whole small team rather than one person.
meetergo's answer
Choose meetergo when data residency is a hard constraint rather than a preference. It is operated by meetergo GmbH in Monheim am Rhein, data is hosted in Germany, and an AVV / DPA is available on every account including the free one, so procurement and DPO review tend to be short.
It is a better fit than Calendly or SavvyCal if you also need the call, the notes and the CRM inside the same compliant stack instead of as three separate US vendors. It is a better fit than Cal.com if you want that without self-hosting and maintaining it yourself. It is a better fit than Acuity, Setmore or SimplyBook.me if your use case is B2B meetings and inbound lead routing rather than salon or service-appointment booking.
It is not the right choice if you specifically want an open-source, self-hosted deployment. Cal.com is the stronger option there, and saying so is more useful than wasting your evaluation time.
