MeatSys is a comprehensive production management and traceability solution developed for slaughterhouses, meat processors, packers and further processing companies. It covers all operations from animal receiving to order processing. Thanks to its parametric structure, it can be used for all species including cattle, sheep, camel and game animals, and can be deployed as a modular or fully integrated system. With RFID-tagged hooks and fixed readers, carcass movements are recorded automatically without interrupting production, reducing human error. Through the Smart Process Design module, companies can perform the same task in different ways and reflect changing needs into the system without development fees. MeatSys includes modules for meat processing, storage, further processing, food safety, labeling, sales and distribution. Integrated with the IntegraFarm farm management system, it delivers full farm-to-fork traceability from live animal to further-processed product. It is web-based, installed on a local server and accessed via a browser over LAN, requiring no mandatory internet connection.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing MeatSys and BatchMaster.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

MeatSys's answer

Slaughterhouses, meat processors, packers and further processing companies of all sizes, from independent plants to large facilities, working with cattle, sheep, poultry, camel or game animals.

What's the story behind your product?

MeatSys's answer

Developed by Vetident Teknoloji since 2005, MeatSys grew from the company's experience in livestock and veterinary technology, extending traceability from the farm (via IntegraFarm) all the way to the finished meat product.

What makes your product unique?

MeatSys's answer

MeatSys runs on a local server with no mandatory internet connection, so production never stops due to connectivity issues. Its Smart Process Design module lets companies adapt workflows to their own processes without paying development fees, unlike rigid enterprise ERPs.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

MeatSys's answer

MeatSys is fully modular and device-independent, working with the scales, printers and RFID readers already on the plant floor. It offers RFID-based individual carcass traceability rather than batch-level tracking, enabling narrow, precise recalls instead of costly wide withdrawals.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

MeatSys's answer

MeatSys is a web-based application accessed via browser over a local network, using RFID hardware integration (tagged hooks and fixed readers) and device-agnostic connections to scales, printers and barcode systems.
