MASSCANBugcrowd is especially recommended for businesses and organizations, regardless of size, that are looking to proactively manage their security risks through a sustainable and controlled vulnerability disclosure or bug bounty program. It is also suitable for companies that lack the internal resources to conduct continuous, effective security testing.

We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Agree re: no need for heap allocation - for others: I recommend reading thru whole masscan source (https://github.com/robertdavidgraham/masscan), it's a pleasure btw - iirc rather few/sparse malloc()s which are part of regular I/O processing flow (there will be malloc()s which depending on config etc. Set up additional data structs but as part of setup). - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Battleship sounds like a good analogy, but is very different because you don't have other options to "secure your ship" besides obscurity. If you had other options, let's say a sonar or moving your ship, they would definitely be used along with obscurity. Besides, the time to scan the whole board is too time consuming in a battleship game, but scanning the whole internet on the other hand only take a few... - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
It's a nice dream of "owning" the attackers but it doesn't have a real security value. [1] https://github.com/robertdavidgraham/masscan. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
A lot of these seem to use zmap (https://github.com/zmap/zmap) for the initial scan. Often with default parameters such as zmap setting ip id to 54321, having tcp initial window at 65535, having no SACK bit set and masscan with no SACK bit either, tcp initial window at 1024, tcp maximum segment size 1460 (which is strange to put below initial window size!), (older versions having fixed src port 61000 or 60000 from... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Can I get banned for mass scanning with https://github.com/robertdavidgraham/masscan or does it slow down any other vms from other persons? Source: about 3 years ago
I like bugcrowd.com but there are others. Source: about 3 years ago
Depending on what type of cybersecurity you want to do, there's other ways to set yourself apart as well. Another way I'd get confidence in someone's abilities is if they've made bug bounties on bugcrowd.com or hackerone.com, for example. Even then, at big companies those people still have to go through HR just like everybody else. Source: almost 4 years ago
CTFs are the suitable choice in your early phases of learning , just keep an eye on ctftime.org and play some CTFs , if you are confident enough of your skills and disagree with the idea of having a pre-vulnreable software/app then you can do bug bounties on platforms like : Https://Hackerone.com Https://bugcrowd.com. Something else that looks great on a resume is bug bounties. There are a number of responsible disclosure websites like HackerOne and BugCrowd where you can find companies willing to either pay or provide thanks for responsibly disclosing security flaws in their products. Look up some tips on bug bounty hunting and if you get lucky you might be able to find something! Source: almost 5 years ago
