Detailed Description: LaunchVault is a fair, visibility-first product launch platform tailored for indie makers, developers, and early-stage startups. Creators can launch for free or choose premium exposure through homepage features, category highlights, and newsletter mentions. LaunchVault empowers small teams and solo builders with a more transparent and rewarding launch experience.
Key Features:
Target Audience: Solo makers, indie developers, small startup teams (1โ10 people), product marketers, and early-stage SaaS founders looking for an honest and effective way to launch and promote new digital products.

Launch Vault's answer:
Our primary audience includes indie hackers, solo developers, early-stage startups, and creators looking for a fair chance to showcase their products and get discovered organically.
Launch Vault's answer:
Launch Vault puts product visibility firstโnot votes or hype. We curate every submission to ensure fair exposure, so even solo builders and early-stage projects have a voice. Itโs a platform built by and for indie makers.
Launch Vault's answer:
Unlike traditional launch platforms that rely on upvotes or popularity, Launch Vault focuses on your productโs story and value. You get meaningful visibility through featured spots, category showcases, and newsletter highlightsโwithout being buried by bigger names.
Launch Vault's answer:
Launch Vault was born out of frustration with launch platforms that favored hype and popularity. As indie makers ourselves, we wanted to build a space that levels the playing fieldโwhere quality and story matter more than clout.
Launch Vault's answer:
Launch Vault is built with Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN/UI, and Supabase for backend services.
Launch Vault's answer:
Early-stage SaaS founders
Indie developers launching side projects

> And after searching for a Mac one I finally bought Marked. I like MacDown [1]. Someone recently forked it to MacDown 3000 [2]. [1] https://macdown.uranusjr.com [2] https://macdown.app. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
Thank you for crafting and sharing this. Have been looking for a modern MacDown[0] replacement, and this fit the bill nicely. Especially appreciate the reasonable, one-time cost and support for local storage. The "Key Features" section mentions "Export notes to PDF"; please consider adding an "Export notes to HTML" option. Custom theme support for the preview pane via CSS would be helpful too. [0]... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I write a LOT of documentation in Markdown for $DAYJOB. I normally use Marked2 (not free, but I paid for my license 7-8 years ago) or MacDown (free) to preview them, and to export them to PDF. Both of these programs are specific to macOS, but a web search for "markdown editor" turns up a few dozen others, for other platforms. Most of these will have an "export to PDF" function built into them. Source: over 2 years ago
MacDown is free, open source and super simple. Has been my go-to Markdown editor for years. Highly recommend. Source: over 3 years ago
