Lumina Audio's answer
LuminaAudio is the only free browser-based audio tool with a split feature that lets you apply different effects to different sections of the same track. While other tools force you to choose one setting for the entire song, LuminaAudio lets you slow down the intro, add reverb to the chorus, speed up the bridge, and fade into daycore for the outro โ all in one file. Combined with 100% local browser processing (no uploads), real-time preview, and professional-grade DSP effects, it's the most powerful free tool for creating slowed + reverb, nightcore, and daycore tracks without installing any software.
Lumina Audio's answer
Three reasons: Privacy, speed, and creative freedom.
Unlike desktop software like Audacity or FL Studio, LuminaAudio requires zero installation and works instantly in your browser. Unlike online tools that upload your files to servers, LuminaAudio processes everything locally โ your audio never leaves your device. Unlike other free tools that limit you to one effect per track, our split feature lets you create dynamic, multi-section arrangements with different speeds, reverb levels, and bass boosts throughout the same song. Plus, it's genuinely 100% free with no watermarks, no signup, no premium tier, and no file limits (up to 500MB). For TikTok creators, YouTubers, and music producers who need professional audio effects fast and privately, there's nothing else like it.
Lumina Audio's answer
LuminaAudio serves three main audiences:
Content Creators โ TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram creators who need slowed + reverb, nightcore, or daycore audio for viral videos, edits, and aesthetic content. They want fast results without learning complex software.
Music Enthusiasts & Hobbyists โ People who love transforming their favorite songs into dreamy, atmospheric versions for personal playlists, lo-fi collections, or sharing with friends. They want professional-quality effects without paying for expensive DAWs.
Indie Music Producers โ Bedroom producers and independent artists experimenting with audio effects, creating remixes, or testing how their tracks sound with different tempos and reverb settings before committing to a full production workflow.
All three groups share common needs: free access, no technical barriers, privacy, and instant results.

Lumina Audio's answer
As a free tool with no signup requirement, we don't track individual users or have traditional "customers." However, our user base includes:
TikTok creators making slowed + reverb edits for viral videos YouTube channels producing lo-fi music compilations and aesthetic content Instagram Reels creators adding atmospheric audio to short-form videos SoundCloud artists experimenting with nightcore and daycore remixes Discord communities sharing custom slowed + reverb playlists Indie music producers testing audio effects before full production Students and educators learning about audio processing and DSP Podcast editors adjusting audio speed and adding ambient effects Our users span 50+ countries, with strong communities in the US, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Philippines, and across Europe. The common thread: creators who want professional audio effects without barriers.
Lumina Audio's answer
Honestly? There are dozens of slowed + reverb generators out there. We know because we tried most of them before building LuminaAudio.
The problem wasn't that these tools didn't exist โ it's that they all had the same frustrating limitations. Online tools uploaded your files to random servers (privacy nightmare). Desktop software like Audacity required a steep learning curve just to slow down a song. Most free tools slapped watermarks on your exports or limited you to 3-minute clips. And none of them let you apply different effects to different parts of the same track without manually cutting and recombining files.
We kept running into the same scenario: we'd want to slow down just the chorus, add heavy reverb to the outro, and keep the intro at normal speed. Every tool forced us to either choose one setting for the whole song or do tedious manual editing. So we asked ourselves โ what if we built the tool we actually wanted to use?
LuminaAudio started as a side project to solve that specific problem. The split feature was the first thing we built because it was the one thing no other free tool offered. Then we made sure everything ran locally in the browser (no uploads, no privacy concerns), added real-time preview so you're not guessing what it'll sound like, and kept it genuinely free with no catch.
We're not trying to replace Audacity or compete with professional DAWs. We built LuminaAudio for the specific use case that everyone else was ignoring: creators who want creative control over slowed + reverb effects without the complexity, privacy risks, or limitations of existing tools.
