Loom
LinodeLinode might be a bit more popular than Loom. We know about 24 links to it since March 2021 and only 19 links to Loom. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Loom is a video recording tool that allows users to capture screenshares with voiceovers. In UAT, itโs used to show an application workflow, whether successful or buggy. Instead of listing steps to replicate a bug/workflow, you can record it firsthand and save everyone some time. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
Telling somebody, โI want to work for youโ is only as good as the reasons you give them. If you show them that you can identify value that they need created and can create it, you take a lot of that work off of their plate. Loom is a good tool for walking people through what you can create. Source: about 3 years ago
Async meetings are pretty great), http://loom.com is pretty great. (don't work there, not even a paying customer, but even then it's transformed the way I work.). - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
While not animation software, both loom.com and scribehow.com are a version of this. Loom is pure video and audio, Scribe is a combo of screenshots and written steps. It 'watches' what you do, then makes an instructional guide that can be edited later. Source: over 3 years ago
I'm not on mac, so I use loom.com as an alternative to screen.studio ๐. Source: over 3 years ago
I have an 11 GB VPS with Windows on it, and itโs running perfectly. I 100% recommend this hosting, because of itโs pricing and support. I give $8.25 a month for an 11 GB VPS. Which would cost up to $55 a month on popular hosting providers like, Linode, Vultr, and Digital Ocean. Source: over 4 years ago
Anyone that hosts a server using the cloud provider linode.com Do you encounter any limits regarding the CPU speed? Source: over 4 years ago
One of my best recommendations is to spin up a linux server in the cloud, you can do it for free for a few months from linode.com for example. Setting up an online server for a game you like playing can also be a rewarding learning experience for networking and Linux in general. Source: over 4 years ago
Then you can buy a VPS from linode.com, katapult.io, contabo.com or hetzner.cloud, I'd recommend a 4gb VPS, and in order to run, it has to be over 2gb. For the OS, choose AlmaLinux or a supported version of CentOS. Source: over 4 years ago
Use VPS, don't use shared web hosting when you generate content as it tends to use lots of resources like RAM, CPU %, and storage. I'd recommend hetzner.com, contabo.com, or linode.com. Source: over 4 years ago
