Let's not forget that runtime revolution, now called Livecode (https://livecode.com/) still exists and is likely the functional, modern successor to HyperCard. Hypercard Stacks as far as I remember work out of the box too. Historically there was HyperCard, then cross-platform Metacard, which eventually became Runtime Revolution, which apparently is now renamed Livecode! There are several options. LiveCode [1] (formerly open source, now closed) can open HyperCard stacks and is compatible with round 85% of the native syntax - so some things will work, and some bits will need rewriting. I am pretty sure they offer a free trial so you can check to see how well it does at converting your stack before committing. I recently moved my website to squarespace and have added several text boxes with links to other pages on the site. However after clicking save and then testing the links, they always resolve back to squarespace.com. Upon reviewing the links they have been converted back to squarespace. Any advice?
