What's the story behind your product?

LivChart was developed by Liv Yazılım, an ERP consultancy and software company based in Istanbul, Turkey. The company has years of experience implementing enterprise BI solutions for corporate clients and repeatedly encountered the same problem: organizations wanted AI-powered analytics but could not move their data to cloud platforms due to internal policies or regulatory constraints. Rather than working around this limitation with on-premise servers and manual reporting, the team built LivChart as a desktop application that brings AI analytics directly to where the data lives. The product launched in early 2026 and is currently used by organizations running fully local AI analytics with Ollama and LM Studio.

LivChart runs entirely on your device — connecting directly to local Excel, CSV, and SQL databases, processing everything with local AI models (Ollama, LM Studio), and never transmitting corporate data externally. This makes it suitable for organizations with strict data privacy, compliance, or air-gapped network requirements where cloud-based BI tools like Power BI or Tableau cannot be used.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

LivChart eliminates the need to upload sensitive corporate data to third-party cloud servers. Unlike Metabase or Superset which require server setup and SQL knowledge, LivChart offers a zero-code interface where business users can ask questions in plain language and get instant visualizations. Unlike Power BI or Tableau, there are no per-user licensing fees or cloud dependencies. The built-in local AI models handle everything from data cleaning (ETL) to chart generation, so you don't need separate tools for each step. For organizations that cannot use cloud-based BI due to compliance, data residency, or air-gapped network policies, LivChart is the only option that combines AI-powered analytics with full local execution.
