LinearB is an engineering productivity platform that provides visibility into developer workflows, automation, and process metrics. It collects data across the entire development lifecycle to diagnose blockers and optimize delivery. One user reports saving 321 developer-hours per month. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
Most tools measure half the picture. Traditional metrics platforms like LinearB focus on quantitative signals (DORA metrics, cycle time). Survey platforms like Culture Amp capture sentiment across organizations but aren't developer-specific. DX (founded by DORA/SPACE research creators) combines developer surveys with SDLC analytics. These approaches require deliberate implementation and buy-in. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
LinearB is a SaaS solution that retrieves metrics overtime, some of them being used to calculate DORA Metrics. They also have a Youtube channel that advocate for DORA Metrics and more. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
In helping engineering orgs get visibility into developer workflows with LinearB, Dan Lines and Ori Keren discovered that the majority of cycle time was being spent in pull request and code review. They found that:. - Source: dev.to / about 3 years ago

Opentrack would be the one to beat these days: https://github.com/opentrack/opentrack It's completely replaced my TrackIR 5, since it averts the need to wear headphones and dig out the tracking bracket every time I want to use it, and the accuracy feels about the same. I found head tracking pretty much becomes second-nature after a while - to the point at which it feels weird to play first-person sims without it.... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
You can do this today with OpenTrack: https://github.com/opentrack/opentrack Also, TrackIR is just an IR webcam, IR leds, and a hat with reflectors. You can DIY the exact same setup easily with OpenTrack, but OpenTrack also has a neural net webcam-only tracker which is, AFAIK, pretty much state of the art. At any rate it works incredibly robustly. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
I want to buy something like TrackIR (I don't know much about equivalent products). My friend told me about a DIY tracker that I could use (opentrack). Source: almost 3 years ago
Out of curiosity, do you have a formed opinion on Opentrack for 6DOF support? It would be cool to have a little input plugin from your software for the XREAL into Opentrack! I usually play Il-2 1946 and other flight sims on a docked Steam Deck, and opentrack + android phone with AI recognition is a god send. Source: almost 3 years ago
I think youโve got the wrong sub. But I thank you. Iโve learnt a load figuring out your acronyms! For anyone not following trackir is this https://www.trackir.com/trackir5/ (which looks remarkably similar to a head mouse extreme which you canโt buy). Itโs head tracking. Not eyegaze.
