I found myself in a similar situation and also started de-googling, which is much nicer and liberating than I was fearing. I did the exact same thing with Immich (what a great software, by the way!). And in case it helps: Instead of always relying on google maps, I now mostly use CoMaps (https://www.comaps.app/). Way better than using directly OpenStreetMap. And for my Pixel 7, I switched to LineageOS with gapps... - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
I have used LineageOS [0] for a few years on my old phone, and last year I got a Pixel 4 and I am using Graphene on it. Both systems work well and I am really glad they exist; Graphene gets extra points for its extremely easy installation process. Unfortunately it seems Graphene is already phasing out support for the Pixel 4 [1], so I'll have to switch back to Lineage at some point. The ability to root my phone allowed me to customize it in ways I had never imagined. I found myself diving into the world of custom ROMs, experimenting with different operating systems for my device. CyanogenMod (now LineageOS) quickly became my favourite, offering a level of control and customization that felt almost magical. To flash these new systems, I had to install ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM), a process... - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Automated analysis tools: SonarQube, CodeClimate, and Codacy detect code-level debt automatically: cyclomatic complexity, code duplication, dependency staleness, and coverage gaps. These tools supplement but don't replace the architectural and business-logic debt that requires human judgment to identify and document. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago

Use tools like SonarQube or CodeClimate to spot the high-risk 20%. Then fix one thing at a time not everything at once. This isnโt Dark Souls. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
