I got tired of maintaining of my home servers. Not my workload, of course. That's the fun and exciting part. But since all that was long running in containers, the operating system beneath seemed somewhat superfluous. So I decided to eliminate it — or reduce it as much as possible. I succeeded, and the result is Lightwhale.
