WineWine is recommended for users who need to run Windows applications on Linux, macOS, or BSD systems. It is particularly useful for software developers, gamers who want to play Windows games on non-Windows platforms, and anyone reliant on specific Windows-only software in a predominantly Unix-like environment. Technical users comfortable with troubleshooting and configuring software settings will likely find it most beneficial.
Based on our record, Wine should be more popular than LibreSpeed. It has been mentiond 56 times since March 2021. Try hosting a DIY speed test on a cloud server (like Google colab or the free oracle instances or whatever): https://github.com/librespeed/speedtest. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
It should be DIA. They provide the internet connection to the company since 2 decades and it's a very small ISP, so it's very vague in terms of contract. Iperf was giving me very terrible results with TCP, UDP was giving me a couple of Gbit/s throughput, definitely a wrong result. We are using this self hosted speedtest. All my results above are based on this software: Https://github.com/librespeed/speedtest. Source: over 3 years ago
Put a copy of Librespeed on a web server that's accessible through the VPN and told them to use that. For (our) convenience, it's logged into a database that's correlated with the VPN login/logout times so the users don't even need to log in to use it, but we still know whose test result it is. In this particular instance though, adolfintel appears to be the developer of Librespeed. The official documentation in that GitHub repo points to that docker image by adolfintel. Therefore, it counts as the official docker image in my book. Source: over 3 years ago
I have tried to find resources (videos or websites) to understand the details of WINE (http://winehq.org) and how to get new applications to run with it, but have had no luck. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago

"WINE is not an emulator" winehq.org originally developed for Linux (I believe). Source: about 3 years ago
No, it allows people to use Windows apps on Linux winehq.org you used to be able to play on Linux but roblox goes out of there way to block it and then says they will most likely not make a native Linux client https://devforum.roblox.com/t/proper-support-for-the-linux-platform/56544/112.
