Parents we talked to felt the same way: they could tell their child was disengaged, but they didn't have a clear picture of what their child actually knew or what to do about it. We started talking with both the kids and the parents about what would make this better: practice that respects the student's time, visual tools that explain why a method works, and reports that tell parents what's really going on. Level Up Math is the result of building the product we wished existed for our own children, with the people it was for in the room from day one.
