I've seen Let's View recommended here before, but have not tried it personally. But, it seems to be what you're looking for, if you wanna give it a shot. I plan to test it eventually but just haven't had the time. Source: almost 4 years ago
I use LetsView. It’s a free phone app and PC app that lets you stream your phone screen. I also bought an adapter that lets me plug an ethernet cable into my phone for better stream quality, but LetsView has been all I’ve needed. Source: about 4 years ago

Ah I see. Opening a tab isn't a problem, it's just that it opens pushbullet.com instead of https://www.pushbullet.com/#devices to see the text directly. I came up with a workaround with the "Redirector" extension that replaces the url. Source: about 3 years ago
Same issue. I have uninstalled (Revo) and installed 5 times and still can't get Pushbullet to work. Now it seems I have to got to pushbullet.com to read and send SMS, instead of doing it local on my PC with Windows 10. Seems to have... Source: over 3 years ago
