I've seen Let's View recommended here before, but have not tried it personally. But, it seems to be what you're looking for, if you wanna give it a shot. I plan to test it eventually but just haven't had the time. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Streaming mobile games on twitch
I use LetsView. It’s a free phone app and PC app that lets you stream your phone screen. I also bought an adapter that lets me plug an ethernet cable into my phone for better stream quality, but LetsView has been all I’ve needed. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Hi, is there a way that I can share my screen from my android to my laptop and use the laptop to control my android? 😅
Let'sView can wirelessly mirror android to PC and vice versa, but I think it needs a USB connection in order to control the phone with the mouse. Source: over 2 years ago

This isn't really Chromecast - it's 'raspicast' and needs it's own app. There are tons of similarly titled howtos that make it sound like you can run your own chromecast server -- you can't, unless you buy an expensive thing from airserver.com or a cheap chromecast. I have yet to find any real opensource chromecast server. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How to cast TO my Linux PC like if it's a Chromecast target? Is there an app that "simulates" a Chromecast receiver? I need it to cast the screen from my Chromebook tablet to my Linux PC.
