It's not about functionality, but about use cases, that both products help with. For instance, if you need to create a strict knowledge base for the team and save data, then the notion works. But if you want to save your knowledge and reuse it in the future - you'll definitely get more value using xtiles. Great product!

I haven't done this course, but I have been programming with Javascript for about ~1.5years and can build things with React, the best course I found, and I bet it would translate to angular, is learnjavascript.online. Another resource that is good is http://csbin.io/ which is a codesmith platform. I would highly recommend xtiles. After trying, notion, obsidian, logseq, craft, anytype, slite, and many other alternatives, I decided to go for Xtiles.
