While you don't need a boot camp, I highly recommend Lambda School (https://lambdaschool.com). They charge nothing upfront and you only pay them back (17% up to $30k) when you get a high paying job. Pomodoro works ok for me, but definitely feel free to customize it! I do 45 minutes of work and a 20-30 minute break. The break may seem excessive, but it's what works best for me after lots of trial and error. I feel like I'm productive enough to justify it (anyway, without it I'd be getting nothing done lol). If you want to stay away from your screen (or only have your work pulled up), consider getting a timer... Source: over 4 years ago
I'd also suggest taking stock of what your weaknesses are and spending a limited amount of time trying out different tools that can help. For example, if you know that you thrive when you have a routine, then you could use something like Strategr to plan your typical weekday and then keep it open on the side of your screen.
