What's the story behind your product?

KMPShip's answer

I've been building mobile apps for the past 15 years, across startups, agencies, and larger teams.

No matter the company or the project, I always found myself doing the same thing over and over: configuring dependencies, setting up auth, building UI foundations…

After doing this more times than I can count, I finally decided to stop reinventing the wheel. That's why I created KMPShip:

  • Save time and focus on the features
  • Skip the boring setup like auth, payments, store publishing, and more
  • Help developers like me grow their apps into something that earns

KMPShip is here to save you time and help you launch what matters.

Cert Decoder's answer:

I built certdecoder.com over the weekend for my own needs. Sometimes in my work, I need to verify and check certificate details.

KMPShip's answer

KMPShip gives you more than just boilerplate. It’s a complete, launch-ready foundation. It includes a paywall that converts, a polished onboarding flow, and a growing set of reusable UI components. You get a built-in design system, a clean architecture used in real-world apps, and everything already wired up: authentication, payments, notifications, local storage, and CI/CD. With KMPShip, you can focus on building your features instead of setting things up.

Cert Decoder's answer:

Simple, fast, and reliable. Some similar tools can’t even decode basic certificates. I rigorously tested my tool with many real-world certificates and covered several edge cases where competitors fall short.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Why? Because I built certdecoder.com and couldn’t find a decent place to submit it. So I said screw it — I’ll build my own. With blackjack and hookers. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
