EasyReportKeePass is ideal for individuals who are technically inclined and appreciate the added security of managing passwords locally. It's also well-suited for users who require a high degree of customization and those who prefer open-source software solutions.
EasyReport's answer:
Easy Report unifies host discovery, evidence capture, and takedown execution into a single guided workspace. The platform pairs automated WHOIS, DNS, and network ownership lookups with prefilled abuse reporting templates, saving teams from juggling multiple tools or manually tracking contact data. Weekly verified provider contacts, encrypted evidence lockers, and escalation support ensure each investigation stays accurate, compliant, and fast from detection to resolution.
EasyReport's answer:
Easy Report combines deep infrastructure intelligence with purpose-built workflows that move directly from discovery to delivery. Instead of exporting data from point tools like MXToolbox or IPinfo and crafting outreach by hand, investigators can map infringing assets, attach screenshots, and submit templated DMCA or phishing reports without context switching. Historical case tracking, SLA-friendly timelines, and expert escalation assistance shorten cycles and increase successful takedowns compared with generic lookup utilities.
EasyReport's answer:
The core users are copyright owners, brand protection teams, and security operations centers that need repeatable abuse response. They manage high volumes of infringement, phishing, counterfeit storefronts, or malware incidents and rely on Easy Report to operationalize takedowns, document actions for compliance, and collaborate with legal or trust & safety stakeholders.
EasyReport's answer:
Easy Report was created by digital rights advocates who repeatedly faced stalled takedowns because critical host contacts were outdated or hidden behind layers of infrastructure. After building internal spreadsheets and scripts to accelerate their own response times, the founders productized the workflow so any team could paste a suspicious URL, capture proof, and ship a well-documented report in minutes instead of days.
EasyReport's answer:
The product leverages a TypeScript and Next.js front end backed by serverless Node.js services. Automated lookups tap into DNS, WHOIS, and ASN intelligence providers, while the reporting engine uses templating services and secure storage (via AWS) to encrypt evidence bundles and maintain audit trails.

I don't get it. The putty website has always been https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ This has never changed. Just because someone likes to use short circuit routing in their head doesn't make putty.org the official site for putty. That is the same attitude as telling the Keepass folks that https://keepass.info/ is wrong... - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago

The key difference here being that this is two way hashing so passwords can be decrypted. In reality, there are a lot of attack vectors like MITM, event logging or sometimes straight up storing data in plaintext. Through these hackers can generally get passwords of all users of these services. So, why don't people use local password managers? Just a txt file encrypted with "master password" should be pretty... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
