Lemonade is incredible. I had a horrible fire in my condo complex and lost everything. I was so stressed thinking about what I would need to provide insurance, but Lemonade made it so easy. My claims advocate was always incredibly quick to respond and they were so understanding and supportive during a tough time. Iโm a Lemonade customer for life.

John Resig created jQuery at BarCamp NYC in January 2006. Its key sources of inspiration included Dean Edwards' CSSQuery library and other community projects from that time. - Source: dev.to / 27 days ago

jQuery simplified AJAX syntax dramatically, which is why it became so popular. If you're working with a project that already uses jQuery (like many WordPress themes and plugins), its AJAX methods are very convenient. - Source: dev.to / 11 months ago
When I was building a quick frontend to the LLM game, I used jQuery to quickly whip out a prototype. Only after I was happy with it, I ported the code to the modern DOM API. As a result, I totally removed the dependency on jQuery. This whole experience makes me wonder, do people still use jQuery, in this age of frontend engineering? I took some time over the weekend to port one of my old jQuery plugins. This is... - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
Whenever the number of items increased, the browser became slow, sometimes even unresponsive. At first, we thought it was a server issue or maybe too much data. But no โ the problem was hiding inside a small line of jQuery. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
It looks like the only way to get information on Lemonade (on https://lemonade.com/ or their Mobile App) is to go through a Q&A session with Maya (their conversational robot). There is no way to look around, get educated/inspired, make up one's mind on Lemonade. This reminds me of the "wizard" interface introduced with Windows 95, where one would be in a unidirectional tunnel to answer specific questions in a... Source: about 3 years ago
If you don't start with the purpose of the layout and a clear idea of the content you're just making pretty pictures. And there's not much 'design' if you're just copying lemonade.com. Source: over 3 years ago
I mean the design doesn't seem hard and for animations look at things like https://www.lottielab.com. But when they say "like lemonade.com" that site definitely has interactive features and user accounts, so some of the elements on that page wouldn't make sense as a plain vanilla site. Go online, lemonade.com provides the service for around that price and I know there are others out there. If you want to keep it as cheap as possible, set you deductible high and coverage limit low. Source: over 3 years ago
If you're looking for a provider, I signed up with lemonade.com which seems to have decent reviews. $40(ish) a month covers vet visits, a blood draw, like, 3 vaccines and a few tests. And dental stuff and if we ever need to say goodbye to her. Source: almost 4 years ago
