Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Jonzy.app and Vim Python IDE.

What makes your product unique?

Jonzy.app's answer

Jonzy doesn't give you a generic "top 10 nomad cities" list. It ranks 356 cities for your income, passport, job, and lifestyle, then helps you compare, check visas, and plan the move in one place. Most tools stop at cost-of-living data. Jonzy covers the full decision: discover โ†’ compare โ†’ decide โ†’ plan.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Jonzy.app's answer

Nomad List and Numbeo show data. Jonzy shows your match. It combines personalized scoring, passport-aware visa matching, head-to-head comparisons, and a move planner. You get one app for "where should I move?" and "how do I actually do it?" โ€” with no subscription, just a one-time Move Ticket

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Jonzy.app's answer

Remote workers, digital nomads, and anyone in general considering an international move who wants a data-backed answer instead of Reddit threads and Instagram hype. Typical users earn $3kโ€“$15k/month remotely, hold passports from the US, UK, EU, or similar, and are deciding between cities like Lisbon, Bangkok, Mexico City, or Barcelona.

What's the story behind your product?

Jonzy.app's answer

Jonzy started from a simple frustration: everyone in nomad groups asks "where should I move?" and gets the same answers โ€” Lisbon, Bali, Mexico City โ€” without accounting for passport, income, or what you actually want from daily life. We built the tool we wished existed: personalized city rankings plus the planning tools to act on the decision.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Jonzy.app's answer

React + TypeScript (Vite SPA) Capacitor for iOS/Android native builds Supabase (auth, cloud sync, edge functions) Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui 356-city bundled data catalog with live API fallbacks (weather, FX, visas) Vercel for hosting and SEO prerender (1,500+ public pages)

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Jonzy.app's answer

Jonzy is pre-revenue and consumer-focused โ€” no enterprise customers yet. Early users are individual remote workers and digital nomads researching their next city. List as:

Remote workers comparing cities before a move Digital nomads evaluating visa-friendly destinations Expats planning relocation with a fixed remote income Couples and families weighing cost of living vs. quality of life abroad
