JetEngine features and specs

  • Custom Post Types and Taxonomies
JetEngine allows you to create custom post types and taxonomies easily, enabling a more organized and customized content structure within WordPress.
  • Dynamic Content
The plugin enables dynamic content creation, allowing you to build complex websites with interactive and personalized content without heavy coding.
  • User-Friendly Interface
JetEngine offers an intuitive interface that makes it accessible for users with varying technical skills to manage and customize website components.
  • Integration with Other Plugins
JetEngine is compatible with other popular WordPress plugins and builders, such as Elementor, enhancing its flexibility and usability.
  • Comprehensive Documentation
Crocoblock provides detailed documentation and tutorials, making it easier for users to get the most out of JetEngine's features.

Possible disadvantages of JetEngine

  • Learning Curve
Despite the user-friendly interface, there is still a considerable learning curve involved, especially for those new to WordPress or Crocoblock products.
  • Performance Impact
As with many feature-rich plugins, JetEngine can potentially impact website performance if not optimized properly, leading to slower load times.
  • Cost
While offering robust features, JetEngine is a premium plugin which may not fit into the budget of all users, especially those managing personal or small-scale projects.
  • Complexity in Large Projects
For very large and highly customized projects, JetEngine might present challenges in terms of integration and scalability without advanced technical knowledge.
  • Dependent on Elementor
While it integrates well with Elementor, this dependency means that users heavily invested in other page builders may not be able to leverage its full potential without additional adjustments.

socketify.py features and specs

  • High Performance
Socketify.py is designed for high scalability and performance, leveraging an efficient event loop and native extensions to handle a large number of concurrent connections efficiently.
  • WebSocket Support
The library provides built-in support for WebSockets, making it suitable for real-time applications where persistent connections between client and server are necessary.
  • Asynchronous I/O
Socketify.py is built on top of asynchronous I/O paradigms, allowing non-blocking operations that can improve the throughput of networked applications.
  • Ease of Use
The library offers a clean and straightforward API with examples and documentation, which lowers the barrier to entry for developers who are new to network programming in Python.
  • Python Integration
Being a Python library, socketify.py integrates well with existing Python applications and can be included as part of larger, multi-component systems.

Possible disadvantages of socketify.py

  • Limited Adoption
As a relatively new or niche library, socketify.py might have a smaller user base and community compared to more established frameworks like Flask or Django, which could result in fewer community resources and third-party integrations.
  • Learning Curve
For developers who are accustomed to synchronous programming paradigms, adapting to the asynchronous programming model of socketify.py may require an initial learning investment.
  • Documentation Depth
While there is documentation, it might not be as extensive or comprehensive as those of more mature libraries, potentially requiring more experimentation or source code reading to fully grasp advanced features.
  • Potential Stability Issues
Being less established, there might be undiscovered bugs or stability issues in production environments compared to long-standing Python networking libraries.
  • Ecosystem Limitations
The library might lack some of the extensive third-party plugins or tools available in more popular frameworks, which could limit its extensibility.

u/Lianad311 is mostly right, but as u/mds1992 said, it's only part of the equation. If you aren't a dev, you'll also need tools that can load the CPT content and display it - Crocoblock have a range of products that do that - I believe this one https://crocoblock.com/plugins/jetengine/ will do that you're after, though they only work with Elementor-based sites. JetEngine with JetBooking - this solution will cover all your actual and future needs. JetEngine itself is unbelievable beast when it comes to work with any kind of dynamic data - imagination is your only limit. With JetBooking I have built few websites - it covers all your needs, including Woocommerce integration and syncing calendars. Here you have crocoblock page focused on solution you need - Booking Solutions. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Need help with this: Dynamic category list with dynamic posts under each heading. Essentially, I want to build a page that dynamically lists all categories as headings and then displays the posts in each category underneath the appropriate heading.
For all of my dynamic sites I use JETengine by Crocoblock. It is possible and I have done it before in a similar scenario. Source: about 4 years ago

These "benchmarks" are useless, they're not testing anything real world except the performance of uWebsockets. There are copy errors all over the place. • This is how I started the development of the fastest ASGI and WSGI Server in TechEmPower Benchmarks
After starting the project called socketify.py at https://github.com/cirospaciari/socketify.py, I got pretty good results and reviews, but many people asked if socketify.py could be used to create a WSGI and ASGI server. WSGI and ASGI have a lot of overhead, that's is why I choose not to use them in the first place, but adding an ASGI and WSGI server allows a lot of code already written to run faster!
