Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

RightAIChoice 8 features
  • Access to a Large Library
JavaScripting provides access to a vast collection of JavaScript libraries, frameworks, and plugins, offering developers an extensive range of tools to enhance their projects.
  • Time-Saving
Developers can save time by finding pre-existing solutions to common problems, allowing them to focus more on unique aspects of their applications.
  • Community Contributions
The platform is supported by a community of developers who contribute and update libraries, ensuring you have access to the latest tools and trends.
  • Ease of Use
JavaScripting is designed with a user-friendly interface that simplifies the process of searching and accessing JavaScript libraries.

Possible disadvantages

  • Quality Variability
The quality of libraries can vary as they are community-contributed, meaning it can be challenging to find consistently high-quality or well-documented solutions.
  • Dependency Management
Using multiple third-party libraries can lead to complex dependency management, potentially causing conflicts or bloat in your project.
  • Security Concerns
Incorporating third-party libraries may introduce security vulnerabilities if libraries are not well-maintained or reviewed regularly.
  • Overlapping Functionality
The large number of available libraries can lead to redundancy, with multiple libraries offering similar functionalities, which may confuse developers choosing the right tool.
  • Weekly re-verification
Every tool in the catalogue is re-probed on a rolling weekly cycle: vendor links, pricing and status. 100% are re-verified thrice within 30 days.
  • Liveness and viability scoring
A verdict on whether a tool is alive, at risk or shut down, backed by link-health probes and a five-signal viability model. Every verdict carries the date it was checked.
  • Real-user sentiment scans
Sentiment synthesised from public discussion on Hacker News, YouTube, Product Hunt, app stores, Stack Overflow and GitHub, rather than star ratings. Mention counts are published with every verdict so you can judge confidence.
  • Pricing reality
Plan prices taken verbatim from the vendor, plus the costs buried below the pricing page: tier gates, credit top-ups and annual-only rates.
  • Plan My Stack
Describe what you are building in plain language and it breaks the project into stages, assembling a toolset for each using only tools verified still running.
  • Free MCP server
Connects our verified data to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Cursor so an assistant can check a tool is alive before recommending it. Free, read-only, no API key.
  • Placement never for sale
Rankings, scores and verdicts cannot be bought. Paid and free listings are treated identically in all rankings and recommendations.
  • Free for users, paid only for vendors
Everything on the site is free to use. Tool makers can optionally pay for review speed and visibility measurement: same-day review at $79 (free lane takes 7-10 working days), and an AI visibility report at $49/month. Rankings, scores and verdicts are never for sale, and paid submissions that are rejected are refunded automatically.

Possible disadvantages

  • Limited Verified Information
There is limited publicly available detailed information about RightAIChoice's specific features, user base, and reputation, making it difficult to fully assess its reliability and quality.
  • Potential for Outdated Listings
AI tool directories can struggle to keep pace with the rapidly evolving AI landscape, potentially leading to outdated or inaccurate information about tools, pricing, or features.
  • Unclear Vetting Process
It's unclear what criteria or vetting process is used to include or recommend AI tools, which could affect the trustworthiness and objectivity of the recommendations provided.
  • Possible Monetization Bias
If the platform earns commissions or advertising revenue from listed AI tools, there could be inherent bias in recommendations rather than purely user-focused suggestions.
  • Limited Brand Recognition
As a lesser-known platform compared to established AI directories, it may have limited user reviews, community feedback, or track record to validate its usefulness and accuracy.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing JavaScripting and RightAIChoice.

What makes your product unique?

RightAIChoice's answer:

Most AI tool sites are written once and left to rot. We re-verify ours continuously: every tool in the catalogue is re-probed on a rolling weekly cycle, and 100% are re-checked at least thrice within 30 days. Every answer we give carries the date it was verified, and if we can't date it, we don't say it.

That matters because AI tools die constantly. We probed 2,291 of the top Product Hunt launches from 2023 to 2025 and found that 24.4% of the 2,066 with a definitive verdict are dead, with their landing pages still online and still being recommended.

The second thing that makes us unusual: nothing here is purchasable. Not rankings, not scores, not verdicts, not inclusion in any list.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

RightAIChoice's answer:

Three reasons.

Freshness you can check. Every verdict carries the date behind it, so you can judge for yourself whether it's current instead of trusting a page with no timestamp.

Costs that aren't on the pricing page. We document tier gates, credit top-ups and annual-only rates. Notion's AI features aren't on the Plus plan, they start on Business. Grammarly's $12/month Pro rate requires annual billing; monthly is $30.

Sentiment from real discussion, not stars. We synthesise what people actually say on Hacker News, YouTube, Product Hunt, app stores, Stack Overflow and GitHub, and publish the mention count with every verdict so you can weigh the confidence yourself.

And placement is never for sale. Paid and free listings are treated identically in all rankings and recommendations.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

RightAIChoice's answer:

Two groups.

People choosing tools: founders, operators, developers and teams deciding what to adopt, who need to know whether something is still maintained, what it really costs, and what to use instead if it isn't.

AI assistants: our data is available free through an MCP server, so ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Cursor can verify a tool is alive before recommending it. Increasingly the answer reaches people through an assistant rather than a browser, and we'd rather be the source it checks than the page it skips.

What's the story behind your product?

RightAIChoice's answer:

It started with a recommendation for a tool that no longer existed.

That turned into a question worth measuring: how much of what gets recommended is already gone? We built a verification pipeline to find out, probed 2,291 top Product Hunt launches from 2023 to 2025, and found that 24.4% of the 2,066 with a definitive verdict were dead.

An honest finding shaped everything after it. Our own catalogue skews toward living tools, so we couldn't derive a death rate from it without cheating, which is why the study uses an external cohort probed by our pipeline instead. The same principle became the rule for the whole product: date every claim, publish the method, and never assert what we can't check.

Built in public by a solo founder in India.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

RightAIChoice's answer:

Next.js and TypeScript on the front end, PostgreSQL via Supabase for the catalogue and its full change history, and Cloudflare in front. The verification pipelines run as scheduled jobs that re-probe vendor links, re-read pricing pages, and synthesise sentiment from public discussion using LLMs. Our data is also exposed through a Model Context Protocol server so AI assistants can query it directly.
