The primary audience for Dott is anyone who is considering signing (or who is curious about an already-signed) an offer letter, severance package, PIIA, IP assignment agreement, or any other type of employment agreement, and wants to better understand exactly what is in their document(s).

What's the story behind your product?

Dott.legal's answer:

Dott was formed by an ex-Big Law attorney who one day found himself on the other side of the kind of severance agreement that he had spent close to a decade helping startups and large companies draft. This experience, paired with the impact of AI on the current employment landscape, drove him to build Dott to give employees the same level of legal counsel that their employers have.
