Ionic features and specs

  • Cross-Platform Development
Ionic allows developers to build applications for multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, and the web using a single codebase. This significantly reduces development time and costs.
  • Rich UI Components
Ionic provides a wide range of pre-built UI components that are customizable and designed to look and feel native on all devices. This makes it easier to create visually appealing and consistent interfaces.
  • Integration with Angular
Ionic is tightly integrated with Angular, a popular and widely-used front-end framework. This integration provides a robust architecture for building complex applications.
  • Active Community and Extensive Documentation
Ionic has an active community and extensive documentation, tutorials, and resources. This makes it easier for developers to find support and resolve issues.
  • Cordova and Capacitor Plugins
Ionic apps can leverage Cordova and Capacitor plugins to access native device features like the camera, GPS, and file system, providing near-native functionality.

Possible disadvantages of Ionic

  • Performance Issues
Because Ionic uses WebView for rendering, performance can sometimes be inferior to native applications, particularly for highly interactive or graphically intensive applications.
  • Dependency on Third-Party Plugins
Ionic heavily relies on third-party plugins for accessing native features. If these plugins are not well-maintained or lack support for certain functionalities, it can lead to challenges.
  • Learning Curve
While Ionic simplifies cross-platform development, it still requires familiarity with web technologies like JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, as well as frameworks like Angular. This could be a steep learning curve for developers not versed in these technologies.
  • File Size
Ionic applications tend to have a larger file size compared to native applications, mainly due to the inclusion of WebView and other dependencies. This can impact download times and initial load performance.
  • Rendering Delays
There can be noticeable delays in UI rendering, especially on older devices, due to the abstraction layer that Ionic provides over native components.

  • ASP.NET Specialization
DailyRazor is well-regarded for its strong ASP.NET hosting support, offering the latest .NET framework versions and MSSQL databases, making it a solid choice for developers in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Possible disadvantages of Dailyrazor

  • Limited Brand Recognition
DailyRazor is a smaller and lesser-known hosting provider compared to major competitors like Bluehost, SiteGround, or GoDaddy, which may make potential customers hesitant due to fewer independent reviews and community feedback.
  • No Phone Support
DailyRazor primarily relies on ticket-based and email support rather than offering phone support, which can be inconvenient for customers who prefer immediate voice communication for urgent issues.
  • Basic Control Panel Experience
Some users have reported that the hosting management interface and control panel experience is not as polished or intuitive as those offered by larger, more established hosting providers.
  • Limited Data Center Locations
DailyRazor has a limited number of data center locations compared to larger hosting providers, which can result in higher latency for users in certain geographic regions.
  • Sparse Knowledge Base
The company's documentation and knowledge base resources are relatively limited, which can make it challenging for beginners to troubleshoot issues or set up more advanced configurations without contacting support.

Dailyrazor Reviews

    Highly recommended

Support has been great and all issues resolved within hours. Great host! Dailyrazor has great package features and pricing. At very rare times their mail servers have issues, but 99.9% of the time everything's great with them. FTP and web downloads from my site are very fast (I'm using a cable modem at 100mbps download speed).

  2. Marquis Panella
The approach to each client is really something outstanding

I'm finding my site is now loading faster than ever, so all in all I'm a very happy customer. Support with Dailyrazor can be a bit slow but they there 24/7 so you don't have to wait overnight for replies, I usually get replies to my emails in about 45 minutes which is perfect for me. The site builder is awesome for someone who does not have a clue where to start with a website from scratch. Let's hope you continue to wow me.

  3. Julius Lundin
The tech support is really good

Highly recommended. I immediately needed help in the transition, which was instantly provided by Dailyrazor tech guys. Not only did my site get up and running again in lightning fast time, but these guys even helped with me a number of other hardware and software issues totally unrelated to what you'd expect from your hosting provider.
