InterviewPhodo is built specifically for Indian campus placement interviews, not adapted from a global template. It's the only AI mock interview tool that asks India-specific HR trap questions — bond clauses, relocation, CTC negotiation — the exact things that trip up B.Tech students at TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and similar companies. Live posture and eye-contact tracking, filler word detection, and cross-session memory that increases difficulty as students improve.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Most interview prep tools like Pramp and Final Round AI are priced and designed for a global, primarily Western job market. InterviewPhodo is purpose-built for the Indian campus placement process, at a price point suited to Indian students. It understands company-specific interview patterns for TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, and Zoho, and focuses on the HR trap questions that generic tools don't cover at all.

B.Tech engineering students in India, particularly at tier 2 and tier 3 colleges, preparing for campus placement drives at major Indian IT services companies.

What's the story behind your product?

InterviewPhodo's answer

The founder went through the Indian campus placement process firsthand and saw that most students prepare using generic mock interview tools that don't reflect how Indian company interviews actually work — especially the HR questions around bonds, relocation, and salary negotiation that catch students off guard. InterviewPhodo was built to close that gap, giving students a realistic, India-specific mock interview experience before the real thing.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

InterviewPhodo's answer

FastAPI, Supabase (PostgreSQL and auth), Google Gemini Live API for real-time speech and conversation, Pipecat for AI orchestration, Daily.co for WebRTC, MediaPipe for posture and eye-contact tracking, React frontend deployed on Vercel, and a Railway-hosted backend.
