As answered by people managing InterLink and Proscient.
InterLink's answer
InterLink was built around the realities of oil & gas manufacturing rather than adapted from a generic quality-management platform. It connects the entire API Q1 lifecycle—from design and procurement through production, inspection, nonconformance, and corrective action—within one system. That connection is important because compliance problems rarely exist in isolation; a supplier issue can affect production, an inspection can trigger a nonconformance, and a corrective action may require changes to processes or documentation. InterLink creates the traceability between those activities.
Its real differentiator is therefore connected compliance: instead of simply storing evidence that an organization followed its processes, InterLink helps organizations actually manage those processes, see what is happening in real time, and maintain an audit-ready trail along the way.
InterLink's answer
InterLink is purpose-built for organizations where API Q1 compliance, product quality, traceability, and operational performance are inseparable. Rather than forcing an oil & gas manufacturer to configure a generic QMS around its industry, InterLink starts with the specific requirements and risks of the sector.
That translates into several practical advantages:
Less administrative work through centralized information and automated workflows. Greater visibility through real-time dashboards and connected quality data. Stronger traceability across materials, suppliers, production, inspections, and corrective actions. Faster, less stressful audits because compliance evidence is maintained continuously rather than assembled at the last minute. Better risk control because issues can be identified, assigned, investigated, and verified through structured workflows. Consistency across teams and locations by standardizing quality processes within one system.
Ultimately, the choice is less about buying another piece of compliance software and more about choosing a platform that understands the business behind the standard.
InterLink's answer
InterLink's primary audience is oil & gas equipment manufacturers and other organizations responsible for maintaining API Spec Q1 quality systems. This includes manufacturers of products such as valves, drilling equipment, wellheads, and other safety-critical equipment where quality, traceability, and controlled production are essential.
InterLink's answer
InterLink grew out of a very practical problem: energy-sector professionals saw that existing compliance tools were often too rigid, too complicated, or simply not designed around the realities of oil & gas operations. Accupoint was created to build something more practical, a software that could translate complex compliance requirements into usable operational processes.
