A lot of competitors to indiebrands have many logos that just aren't suitable for use as App icons or as favicons. Look at Brandbuckets logs with those complex shapes, they might look interesting, but don't work. On Indiebrands the logos are clean and suitable for modern use

I don't like the service. It is very slow and very expensive. Not recommended it to others.

Based on our record, Hotjar should be more popular than IndieBrands.io. It has been mentiond 12 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Not sure about profitable, but it’s still definitely a Thing. Look at .eth domains for the most egregious case today. I just saw https://indiebrands.io the other day. Basically a domain squatting operation but the guy operating it is convinced it is him that is creating the value rather than… you know… someone actually using the domain for something other than selling it.
