I found the Hex, RGB, CMYK and the Possible Names for the Shade of Pink and Blue I want from using ArtyClick Colors and ImageColorPicker.com , but it seems that Rite Dye doesn't have these specific shades of pink and blue on the market. Source: almost 2 years ago

I found this to be a good article on the subject: https://evilmartians.com/chronicles/oklch-in-css-why-quit-rgb-hsl Along with their picker / converter here: https://oklch.com/#0.7,0.1,139,100 Discussed on Hacker News here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43073819 (6 months ago, 30 comments). - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
I'd argue you can reason about it better, because the space is telling you how the colors actually work perceptually. Trying this tool (https://oklch.com/) it feels like you can get to the color you want quicker. The invalid ranges are a bit of a problem for manually editing these values, though. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
I recommend checking out the excellent OKLCH color picker at oklch.com. Be sure to enable the "Show 3D" switch (because who doesn't love going full nerd?) to view the 3D model of the color space. At the "base" of these "color mountains" you'll find a Hue/Lightness diagram with zero Chroma (showing only grays), while the mountains' heights represent the maximum Chroma available across different hues and lightness... - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
There are cases of perceivable differences though like https://oklch.com/#70.29,0.2413,41.29,100 . - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
This is one of those "do we really need to do this" type of things. If you go and play with an OKLCH tool like this one, you'll notice that the differences in the OKLCH vs RGB/hex color are imperceptible: https://oklch.com/#65.88,0.2097,41.29,100. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
