  • Making an Adventure game at work, would love to get peoples opinions on the genre
Obviously Iโ€™m committed to the genre since Iโ€™m here! I used to follow adventure game developers and fans when I was on twitter. I now lurk on a few discords. Unfortunately the review and news site Iโ€™ve relied on since I was a child, Adventure Gamers, is in some funding/ownership flux, but itโ€™s still online. Adventure Game Hotspot was started recently, perhaps to fill a similar space. I also find pretty good... Source: about 3 years ago

  • Grim Fandango - does it get better?
I had the same trouble with Grim Fandago which is for some people the best adventure game ever (cf adventuregamers.com). Well sorry I couldn't get into it. It was one of the game that made me realize how much I cared about the scumm style pixel art adventure game. I can't stand 3d in adventure games. Source: about 3 years ago
