Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Hypervector and GripeRadar.

What's the story behind your product?

GripeRadar's answer:

GripeRadar was created after its founder repeatedly had to research potential SaaS opportunities manually across discussions, search trends, repositories, launches, technology announcements, and commercial reports. Most idea lists provided suggestions without enough evidence to evaluate them. Development began in June 2026, and GripeRadar was launched in August 2026 to make opportunity research more structured, transparent, and repeatable.

What makes your product unique?

GripeRadar's answer:

GripeRadar does not generate startup ideas from a prompt. It collects market signals from customer discussions, search trends, product launches, open-source projects, technology changes, creator coverage, and commercial evidence. It preserves the supporting sources and assigns separate opportunity and confidence ratings, helping founders distinguish promising problems from weak or incomplete evidence.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

GripeRadar's answer:

GripeRadar is designed for founders who want traceable evidence rather than generic AI-generated suggestions. Its multi-source approach provides broader context than tools focused on a single community or data source. Users can compare ranked opportunities, inspect the evidence, track markets, save research, perform AI-assisted deep dives, and receive recurring reports.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

GripeRadar's answer:

GripeRadar is primarily built for solo founders, indie hackers, early-stage startup teams, product and market researchers, and agencies investigating new SaaS opportunities. It is especially useful for people who want evidence before committing significant time and money to building a product.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

GripeRadar's answer:

GripeRadar is built with Next.js 16, React 19, and TypeScript. It uses Drizzle ORM with PostgreSQL, Better Auth for authentication, OpenRouter-compatible AI models for structured analysis and report generation, and scheduled Vercel endpoints for its recurring data and opportunity-processing pipeline.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

GripeRadar's answer:

GripeRadar is newly launched and does not yet have publicly named major customers. Its initial audience includes solo founders, indie hackers, early-stage startup teams, product researchers, and agencies investigating SaaS opportunities.
