Features and specs

What each product offers, as listed by its team.

https://open-gpt.app/ 5 features
Datacrecy 10 features
  • Accessible AI Chat Interface
Provides a user-friendly web-based interface for interacting with GPT-based AI models without needing to set up API access or coding knowledge.
  • No Installation Required
Being a web application, it can be used directly from a browser without downloading or installing any software.
  • Potentially Free or Low-Cost Access
Many GPT wrapper sites like this offer free tiers or lower-cost access compared to official API pricing, making AI chat more accessible to casual users.
  • Quick Setup
Users can typically start chatting almost immediately after visiting the site, with minimal account creation or configuration steps.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility
Since it runs in a browser, it can be accessed from various devices including desktops, tablets, and smartphones without platform-specific versions.

Possible disadvantages

  • Uncertain Reliability
Third-party GPT wrapper websites often depend on underlying API access that can be unstable, rate-limited, or discontinued without notice, affecting consistent availability.
  • Data Privacy Concerns
Using an unofficial third-party service to process conversations raises questions about how user data and conversation history are stored, used, or shared.
  • Limited Transparency
It may be unclear which underlying AI model version is being used, how up-to-date it is, or what modifications have been made to the base model's behavior.
  • Potential Hidden Costs or Ads
Free-to-use AI wrapper sites often monetize through ads, premium upsells, or data collection, which may not be clearly disclosed to users upfront.
  • Lack of Official Support
Unlike official AI platforms, unofficial wrapper sites may lack dedicated customer support, regular updates, or accountability if issues arise.
  • Larger Customer Reach
The world's largest pre-verified contact database with SMTP-validated emails ready to download.
  • No Credentials Required
Source LinkedIn contacts without logging in. Zero risk of account bans or restrictions.
  • Email Verification
Every email checked at the protocol level (MX, SMTP handshake, catch-all, spam trap) before it enters the database.
  • Enrichment and Prospector Features
Target by job title, industry, company size, location, tech stack, and funding stage.
  • Email Validation
Export leads that are already clean. No need to run them through NeverBounce or ZeroBounce after download.
  • Low Cost
Own the full pipeline (scraping, verification, storage) so pricing stays cheaper than Apollo, ZoomInfo, or Lusha.
  • No Credit System
Pay per lead or subscribe monthly. No credit expiration, no separate pools, no rationing.
  • Data Refresh
Leads are continuously re-verified so the database gets cleaner over time instead of degrading.
  • B2C Visibility & Trust
Automatically filters out consumer email addresses so you only get business contacts.
  • Disposable Email Detection
Blocks temporary and disposable email domains from entering your lead lists.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing https://open-gpt.app/ and Datacrecy.

What makes your product unique?

Datacrecy's answer:

Datacrecy is the only B2B lead database that pre-verifies every email at the SMTP protocol level before it enters the database. Competitors sell you unverified data and make you pay a separate tool (NeverBounce, ZeroBounce) to clean it. We also run accountless LinkedIn scraping, meaning your LinkedIn account never touches our system and can't get banned. On top of that, we own the full pipeline (scraping, verification, enrichment, storage) which makes our per-lead cost the lowest in the market.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Datacrecy's answer:

Three reasons. First, you stop paying twice. With Apollo you buy leads, then pay NeverBounce to verify them. With Datacrecy, verification is already done. Second, you get 2.5 billion contacts, which is 9x more than Apollo and 19x more than ZoomInfo. Third, accountless scraping means you can source LinkedIn data without risking your account. No competitor offers all three in one platform.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Datacrecy's answer:

B2B sales teams, RevOps managers, lead generation agencies, and founders doing outbound. Companies that buy contact data regularly but can't justify enterprise contracts. People who care about cost per verified lead and bounce rates.

What's the story behind your product?

Datacrecy's answer:

I was running a B2B lead generation company and spending thousands every month on Apollo for contacts and NeverBounce for verification. And emails still bounced because most verifiers use pattern matching, not real SMTP checks, Catch all, Mail trap. I was paying for the same lead twice and getting garbage half the time. So I built the scraping infrastructure, the verification pipeline, and the database myself. No middlemen, no rented data, no markup layers. That became Datacrecy.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Datacrecy's answer:

ClickHouse for the contact database, Python for scraping and verification workers, SMTP protocol-level email validation, Docker for containerized deployment, and KumoMTA for mail transfer infrastructure.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Datacrecy's answer:

  • Currently in private beta with early access partners
  • B2B lead generation agencies
  • Sales outsourcing firms testing the platform for client campaigns and outreach
