I've read the study from health.com. I'm not impressed with their methodology: They do an incredibly poor job of control groups. It's even in the research you cite. Source: over 3 years ago
I think this subreddit is subject to this in a big way right now. For instance: a very neutral article I posted from health.com has a 50% downvote rate. It's almost as if people are in here just downvoting literally everything to keep it from popping up on Google... Source: over 3 years ago
It could be a wholly new ingredient that hasn't been used before, and no one talked about it for some reason. That's pretty unlikely though. I think that health.com simply got its facts wrong. Source: about 4 years ago
These sound like pretty generic requests (in a good way โ no specialty therapy needed to focus on interpersonal relationships), so you probably just have to see if the therapist gels with you. Go for ease of location and peruse some profiles to start. If money is an object, well then, youโre more limited. If you are open to online, betterhelp.com is completely virtual sessions that might be more affordableโฆ... Source: about 4 years ago
I had been interested in a galacatagogic beer with a lot of herbs, but generically the effect of having a small amount of beer in your blood system can change the flavor of the milk and reduce the amount a newborn might feed. My partner quite enjoyed lactation cookies. I don't remember her recipe but there's a writeup from health.com that might be helpful. Source: over 4 years ago
Event loops are a paradigm for processing events different than your typical single-threaded or multi-threaded application. Your request gets broken down into async "events" that are executed in a loop to improve performance and minimize synchronization across threads. It is famously used by Node.js as the backbone of their event processing and also by several other technologies like Redis and Nginx. - Source: dev.to / 11 days ago

TypeScript / Node.js: Excellent for building asynchronous backend systems that must stream text data smoothly to thousands of users simultaneously. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
Because Node.js operates on a single-threaded asynchronous runtime, it is inherently vulnerable to processes that hog the CPU for too long. I absolutely cringe whenever I see developers blindly copy-pasting complex regular expressions from StackOverflow without actually testing their performance impact. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
This tutorial walks you through setting up a simple Docker Compose project that serves two Node web servers over HTTPS using Caddy as a reverse proxy. You will learn how to use mkcert to generate wildcard certificates and the minimal configuration needed in the Caddyfile and docker-compose.yml to get it all working. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
